the existential reality of roof repair

Had the roofer come in and do some work a few weeks ago (for about, oh, six thousand less than the estimate from the previous roofer), and this is the third time it's rained since then (and only the second time it has rained in an amount of any consequence).

There are many good feelings in the world, but being warm and dry in your home, while it's rainy and wet outside, is definately among the best of them.

Yay for not leaking roofs. Ours has just been fixed also and there is no better feeling than no leaks when it rains.

I owe you email I know. I am in the country and at home this weekend so can finally be a civilised person who answers her email.
