Why You Don't Start Home Repair at 10.30pm

Plan: Have Ron fix my faucet tonight.

Pro: Having hot water.
Con: Ron is one part Useful and Competent, but two parts Wacky Hijinks.
Pro: If no water, will probably have good story to tell later.
Con: Having no water, and possibly having kitchen explode.

Outcome: Ask Again Later

Starting at 10:30pm is disaster waiting to happen. You're starting tired, so your coordination and critical thinking ability is off. It makes the job more frustrating because it seems harder than it should be.

I'm speaking from experience here.
