I have lived in this house for over two years, and I finally, today, found the outside water faucet for the back yard! Hooray I am awesome!
Mowing was hot (and not in a good way) and now I am icky. But I was accompainied by a podcast (how did people do yardwork before technology?). And I got to wash my feet off under the faucet, so that was fun.
And then I left all my braincells in the yard, apparently, because I put the remains of my iced chai on the floor for the ferrets to lick the condensation off the cup, and then walked away. So, Otto followed his natural hunting instinct, and tried to hide the whole thing under the radiator. He succeeded in hiding the lid, and Butters succeeded in soaking himself in ice and chai.
For those of you who read this blog primarily for ferret updates, Butters is fine - he's unfloppy, and back to his usual perky self.
